Cala Moltó, our favorite anchorage on Mallorca

Cala Molto is a little anchorage accessible by boat or by foot on the East Coast of Mallorca. We sailed there from Portocolom, looking for an anchorage that would protect us from a Southern swell, and arrived at the end of the day to find some of the bluest water we've ever seen....And you know what blue water means... right?!It means one's gotta jump into it! Though this year in June, the water in Mallorca was still very cold, and it took a lot to get me in there...Eventually though, one has to let go and just... embrace the situtation! I won't lie, it was a little chilly at first, but one gets used to it after a while :) For the first time, we got to use one of our favorite upgrades of this year: the DECK SHOWER!The installation of our deck shower cost us less than 100€ and was both the cheapest upgrade, we made this year but also one of our most appreciated! It is very common to see this particular type of sea bream hang out under the boats and in harbors in the Mediterranean.Calá Molto was absolutely full of them, which made for interesting under water views. And obviously, the color of the water made for som stunning aerial views too!
