How we made our engine 50% quieter

For all the things onboard that we do not like, there is always something we can do about it. One of those things was how loud our engine is when she is running.

Before we decided to alter our plans, we were considering a season full of motoring along the New York canals and felt it was time to do something about it.

In this video, we go over the project details, and below, you can find the supplies we used to carry it out.

This project took me just a couple of days to complete, of which half of my time was spent removing our old foam, and another good chunk of it dismantling and reattaching the parts mounted to the walls.

If you carry out this project, I would love to hear how it went for you :)

Happy boat project!
