Rønne, Bornholm, Denmark

A perk of living and traveling on a sailboat is the fact that we often end up places that we had never thought to travel to.The small island of Bornholm, located in the Baltic sea between Germany, Poland, and Sweden is just that. A place we would probably have never thought of if it wasn't so conveniently placed on our way between Sweden and Kiel. After setting sails towards our new life of nomadic adventures aboard our sailboat, Polar Seal, we spent a few days in Rønne, the island's main city, where we finally let our new lifestyle sink in.And what a lovely place to adjust! We were welcomed by some fantastic weather and enjoyed the picturesque city until it was time to set sail again. Here are some pictures of the city, where Ryan and I spent the last five days.We are heading towards Kiel tomorrow, and I am really excited to go to Germany, which is a country I always enjoy visiting!
