Day 13: WHO IS HELEN???

When I shut the phone off around 6 pm last night I had just gone under 400NM to go… when I turned my phone on at 6 am it was 320… approximately 80nm in 12 hours. Wozzr. Unfortunately, today is not replicating that. As has been standard the last week, the daytime winds have been less than forecast, the good news is the night times winds are usually right on. So my hope is a get another good night of sailing in.

My next challenge is getting nothing. I’m moving there slowly but maybe not fast enough.

I have about 50 hours before I arrive, I hope. I’m just trying to stay positive, safe and my eyes on the prize.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any wise words on wisdom for today… I think I have used up all my knowledge through this trip, sometimes no words are the best words… sitting in silence and enjoying.

Today is one of the first full days of sunshine, I have Helen sitting in the cockpit enjoying it and the sound of the waves on the boat in silence, it’s nice.

I challenge everyone to do something today you can do in silence, to reflect and enjoy.

Tomorrow, I believe will be my last post, and oh boy am I looking forward to pushing send on that one.
